| Keith Frank |
|
After
more than 20 years in the music industry, 15 years as the
lead of his own band, Keith Frank
has established himself as a Zydeco Superstar. Having
learned from his father and uncle, both accomplished zydeco
musicians themselves, and by observing some of zydeco's legends,
Keith has taken his brand of zydeco music in its own direction.
His eye is firmly cast forward, looking towards zydeco's future,
but always with an appreciation and respect for zydeco's traditions
and roots. His seamless blending of both the past and the
future has enabled him to stake a claim as a Zydeco trendsetter. www.keithfrank.com

| Step Rideau & the Zydeco
Outlaws |
Since
childhood, Step grew up knowing the necessity of hard work and
dedication, which was instilled by example from his parents.
He picked up the trait for music from his grandfather the late
Wallace Chambers; with whom Step spent hours each day
listening to him perform. Two great musician's inspired Step;
one a native of Lebeau as well, the late Rockin Sydney (Don't
Mess With My Toot Toot) and the late Boo Zoo Chavis/King
of Zydeco (Paper in My Shoe). In 1991 he started his band
the Zydeco Outlaws, and created a
sound that is crisp and light that keeps them in a class of
their own. Now with five albums out, Step Rideau
and the Zydeco Outlaws have become one of the
favorites of the Cajun/Zydeco festival circuit. www.steprideau.com |

|
Adoria
Jenkins, better known as Dora, while growing up in Texas, often
visited relatives in Louisiana, and thus was often exposed to
zydeco music. Later, as an adult, Dora was reintroduced to zydeco,
and fell in love with the music and the culture. BooZoo
Chavis, Beau Jocque, and Rockin' Sydney can be
counted among her early favorites and influences. Eventually,
the Zydeco Badboyz came together as
a band, and Dora released her first CD, titled Feels
So Good.
Last year her second CD, Dora's Time,
was released, to much success, both critically and commercially.
This year promises to be even bigger.
Be on the lookout for great things from Dora... YOU
WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED! www.dorazydeco.com |

Curley
Taylor was born and raised in Louisiana and has been around
music all of his life. At the age of 16 Curley started playing
drums in his father's band, (Jude Taylor & His Burning
Flames) which is deep in Louisiana Blues, Soul and Zydeco.
By the age of 25, Curley had played drums for some of Louisiana's
finest legends including: CC Adcock, Steve Riley, John Hart,
"Lil" Bob of the Lollipops, and his uncles, "Lil
Buck" Senegal and Wayne "Blue" Burns.
Curley purchased an accordion and learned to play it in about
six months. During this time, friends Keith Clements (keyboard
player) and Erick Minix (drummer) approached Curley and asked
him to start his own band. Curley Taylor and Zydeco
Trouble promises a musical experience you won’t
forget. www.curleytaylor.com |
