Coaches

Our coaches have all been qualified and accomplished players!

Mike Mitchell is the owner, operator and head instructor at FSA. Mike attended UCLA and went on to play 9 seasons professionally. He has been instructing for 10 years.
Ginny Mitchell is owner and head softball instructor at FSA. She was a CIF champion at Camarillo High, and an NCAA Champion while attending UCLA. Ginny led UCLA in hitting in 1995 and was inducted into the Ventura County Hall of Fame in 1998.
Al Drumheller is FSA’s head baseball pitching instructor. He pitched professionally for 10 years in the US, Mexico and Taiwan. Al attended the University of Alabama and started as a pitcher and outfielder.
Brooke Rutchman is FSA’s head softball pitching instructor. She attended Oregon State University and started at 5 different positions. Brooke still holds several OSU records and is currently a coach at Camarillo High School.
David Soliz runs FSA’s coaches clinics, summer camps and works with Pitchers. Currently, David is the head baseball coach at Rio Mesa High School. David attended Cal State Los Angeles where he was the team’s closer.
Jeff Bannon is a hitting and fielding coach at FSA. Jeff plays in the Cincinatti Reds organization and was named a minor league All Star.
Johnna Mike-Price is a softball instructor. She attended UCSB and UCLA where she caught some of the best pitchers in the nation. Currently, Johnna coaches at Camarillo High School.
David York is FSA’s strength and conditioning coach. He runs the summer conditioning program and has trained many professional athletes.
Page Odle – FSA is pleased to have a relationship with Page. Page played baseball professionally with the Pittsburgh Pirates and currently is a sports agent. He represents Jack Wilson of the Pirates, Brian Lawrence and Miguel Ojeda of the san Diego Padres and Eric Cyr of the Angels, among others.
