My name is Rich Conturo. I am an artist/designer and this is my digital portfolio. Here you will find the best examples of my work from various projects that I have been involved with over the last 25 years plus personal pieces of mine that I have created for myself and friends.
A Brief Career History
Upon my arrival to Los Angeles in 1984, I was immediately hired as a staff production artist by JP Advertising, a mid-sized entertainment ad agency, where I began my career in entertainment design. I quickly moved up to the position of Assistant Production Manager where I oversaw the production of movie advertising for all the newspapers in Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange, San Bernadino and San Diego counties.
From there I was I hired by J&A. A new agency that was offering more creative freedom. There I was given the opportunity use more of my design and layout skills creating one sheet posters, billboards and other advertising collateral from movie keyart.
